About Kelli

Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2018, Kelli maintains a diverse commercial litigation practice. She regularly advises institutional and individual clients with respect to contract disputes, creditors’ rights, bankruptcies, consumer proposals, real estate disputes, and negligence matters. Kelli has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Court of Appeal for Ontario, Federal Court, Divisional Court, and Small Claims Court.

In addition to diligently advocating for her clients both in and outside of Court, Kelli is an active member of various professional organizations, including the County of Carleton Law Association (“CCLA”), where she has served as an elected member of the Board of Trustees since 2022. Kelli has also been very involved in Ottawa’s very own Advocacy Club since 2017 where she has regularly assisted in the organization of several seminars and events aimed at providing specialized advocacy training, networking opportunities, and mentorship to Ottawa’s articling students, paralegals, and junior lawyers.

In 2024, the CCLA and the Advocacy Club joined forces to create the New Legal Professionals and Advocacy Club Committee which will be continuing the tradition of hosting an annual conference, quarterly networking socials, and regular workshops specifically designed to support junior lawyers, paralegals, and students during the early stages of their careers and beyond. Kelli was centrally involved in facilitating the merger and currently serves as the Committee's Co-Chair.

Alongside a skilled and passionate team of Ottawa lawyers and law students, Kelli assisted in co-founding the Ottawa Pro Bono Employment Clinic in response to the job loss and other employment law issues flowing from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020. Since then, the Clinic has provided thousands of hours of pro bono legal services. With the support of the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and the continued dedication of local volunteer lawyers, the Clinic operates each summer between June and August.

Outside of the world of law, Kelli splits her time between travelling to see her favourite bands, watching and playing hockey, and spending as much time as possible with her family.
